A stallion of the highest quality, 16hh, bay and APTO graded - he has wonderful temperament, great character and with absolutely no stallionish behaviour at all (he can however be gelded if required as stallion ownership is not for everyone). 



Fichaje (pronounced Fish-ar-hey) and nickanamed Fich (Fish) has been at St P's for over three years and over this time has proved himself to be a wonderful horse in both his willingness to learn and his generosity of spirit.  He has been ridden by both novice and high level riders and has performed superbly.



Fich is professionally and correctly trained.  Currently Fich is working towards some of his advanced movements he has started his changes, piaffe and canter pirouette work.  His lateral work is fully estabished in all paces.  His lengthening work is developing nicely.












Fichaje can be ridden in Spanish tack and costume, ridden with the garrocha pole and has performed in lecture demonstrations at the stud.  He is a horse of incredible versatility and can be ridden by anybody.  He can be ridden in a snaffle bridle or a double bridle

Fichaje comes from the stunning stallion Oficial XXIX and carries the Albero II bloodline along with Yeguada Militar and Terry lineage.  He is a sucessful and easy breeding stallion and to date has produced a super filly and colt.  He has fabulous conformation and typical Spanish movement

 He is so like his half sister,my Fronda, I wish I could have him aswell, they are like peas in a pod.If he is half as easy as she is someone is going to have a friend for life.

Tried out Fichaje at St Piran's last weekend and immediately fell in love with him.  So he will be joining me and my 3 other horses in the wilds of Lincolnshire (like Cornwall, but flatter!).

I am really excited about getting to know him and I am sure we will have many years of fun ahead of us.

My thanks to PMG for letting me know about him and for my first 2 lessons on him.  And many thanks to Rachel and Paul for making the whole process so easy.

My apologies to the Scottish lady for getting in first, but I did at least save you one hell of a journey on the first weekend of the summer holiday.

I am so chuffed for you both. He is such a wonderful character and he will be hugely missed down here BUT I know he will thrive with you and we are chuffed to bits for you both.

Congratulations Anita, you are one lucky, lucky lady. I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing and riding Fich since he first arrived at the stud. He truly is a horse in a million, he has taught me so much and has the most amazing temperament. I wish you both many happy times together x

Congratulations Anita, I first saw Fich in spain when I went to try out Fin at Susaeta.  Luckily he wasn't for sale at the time, as both me and Danni (who was supposed to be some kind of voice of reason at the time  Huh? ) couldn't help but gasp abnd drop our jaws when he walked out  Cool

I am sure he will make you very happy, and I am just hoping that Coffee turns out half as beautiful and well mannered.
